Siva Sai Mandir, Penukonda, India

Saraphina invites students to draw from a diverse interconnection of soul, form and sound, sharing yoga teacher trainings, Kirtan and Seva since 2007. Informed by meditation training at Shiva Sai Mandir in Penukonda, India 2008 to 2012, her classes are a spontaneous combination of ancient wisdom and modern variations. Enjoy a dive into breath, fluid movement and body awareness with integration and joy!

Brittany Russel

All Yoga Thailand

Brittany earned her 200hr Ashtanga Vinyasa certification with All Yoga, an organization based in Thailand. In her teaching, she provides a safe space to explore your unique expression, to grow strong and comfortable in your own skin. Yoga began for Brittany as a strong physical challenge and overtime, unfolded in to a new way of living and learning. She has also pursued 200 + hours in Yin Yoga with 5 Elements Wisdom Academy, and has obtained certificates/training in Yoga Nidra, Prenatal, Kids Yoga, Ganja Yoga and Mat Pilates.

ISHTA Yoga

Rumika (Rumi) has been practicing yoga from a young age – her first yoga class was at age 11 in Chennai, India at Sivananda Yoga. Since then, yoga, meditation, and spirituality have served as a foundation from which her life, and practice, have grown. A former corporate fashion executive, she made a decision close to a decade ago to transition her career and life path fully into the world of yoga – working in the wellness space extensively and receiving her 200 + 300 Hour Teaching Certifications from ISHTA Yoga. Rumi is a transplant from NYC to Denver, and her practices are taught with the intention to create space for one to find their own unlimited potential – on and off the mat.

We are a small and community-based studio, focused on providing comprehensive and holistic teachings of yoga. We believe that a yoga teacher training should be a nourishing and life-changing experience, and that no matter where you’re at on your life path, you can deeply benefit from an exploration of the ancient wisdom of yoga. What to Expect:

  • In-Depth Study of Yoga Philosophy & History: Explore the ancient roots of yoga, its philosophical foundations, and how these teachings apply to modern life. Learn about key texts such as the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Bhagavad Gita, and more.

  • Anatomy & Physiology: Gain a deep understanding of the human body, focusing on how to teach yoga safely and effectively. Learn about the muscular and skeletal systems, common injuries, alignment principles, and modifications to meet the needs of all students.

  • Asana Practice & Teaching Methodology: Develop a strong and safe asana practice, with an emphasis on alignment, breath, and mindfulness. Learn how to sequence classes, give clear cues, and offer adjustments that enhance students’ experiences.

  • Ayurveda, Ethics, Lifestyle & Self-Care: As a teacher, it’s vital to cultivate a mindful lifestyle. This module covers ethical guidelines for teaching, cultivating compassion, and nurturing a personal practice of self-care. Deep dive into the Science of Life, or Ayurveda, and how the individual doshas it can influence your practice, teaching, and life. 

  • Teaching Styles: Explore different styles of yoga (e.g., Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra) and learn how to adapt your teaching for different populations, including beginners, seniors, and more.
